God’s Favor in Business
Psalm 112:5-10 (TPT) says, ” Life is good for the one who is generous and charitable,
conducting affairs with honesty and truth.
6 Their circumstances will never shake them
and others will never forget their example.
7 They will not live in fear or dread of what may come,
for their hearts are firm, ever secure in their faith.
8 Steady and strong, they will not be afraid,
but will calmly face their every foe
until they all go down in defeat.
9 Never stingy and always generous to those in need,
their lives of influence and honor will never be forgotten,
for they were full of good deeds.
10 But the wicked take one look at a life lived like this
and they grit their teeth in anger, not understanding their bliss.
The wicked slink away speechless in the darkness that falls,
where hope dies and all their dreams fade away to nothing,
nothing at all!”

God wants to bless Christian businessman and woman. He longs to make them tools in constructing and expanding the kingdom of God, and not just in giving of finances, but also in being conduits of ministry. Regardless of whether you are a business owner, manager or employee, once you understand that everything you say and do is a ministry, it changes your perspective in how you function and operate. Whether we realize it or not, we are all in full-time ministry! What we say and do should reflect the love and nature of the Father and be done in a spirit of excellence to honor Him! Our submission, respect and hard work ethic makes an impact on our community, increases customer and employee satisfaction and shines the greatness of our God to others.
To those who are generous and charitable, conducting business in honesty and truth, they are:
1) Not shaken by circumstances.
2) Never forgotten, but are creators of legacy.
3) Fearless with secure hearts of faith.
4) Always generous to those in need.
5) Full of good deeds.
When conducting business God’s way, we establish a legacy of giving and inspire others to follow their dreams in business. Dreams fade and hope dies in darkness. As long as there is a glimmer of light shining, hope and dreams are alive and prevailing! Let God’s light shine upon your dreams in business, and when you are in alignment with His Word, you will always be blessed! Even when faced with opposition, you will not be shaken or moved, but He will defend and provide every step of the way. Trust Him and the dream God has placed inside of you!
