2020 Vision

Habakkuk 2:1-4 says, “1I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. 2And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. 4Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.”
Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”

2020 is here! Are you ready? Are you excited? As a ministry, we are convinced that as we pursue the heart and presence of God, the best days are truly ahead! One of the sources of our happiness in serving Jesus and the ministry is simply one word:  vision! It is why Proverbs 29:18 puts in the same verse that people perish without a vision, but yet obedience to the law brings happiness. When we are obedient to the vision God gives us, we are overjoyed as we see what He has birthed in our hearts come to life! You have to have a vision to clearly communicate where you are going and what you are doing so others can read it and “run with it”. It doesn’t mean that it is everyone else’s responsibility to fulfill what God has put upon our hearts, but it is much easier to form a team of people who can work together for the same common purpose when you know the heartbeat of God for your community and generation!

So, we want to share with you an outline concerning the vision and mission of Our Father’s House, and we would love for you to join us in fulfilling and enhancing the vision God has given us to grow the church and making kingdom impact!

Mission: To Love God and Love People (Matthew 22:37-40).

Vision: To grow the Kingdom of God and the Church through relationships within the church, evangelism outside the church and impacting youth and children to develop a relationship with Jesus.

The three areas of focus:
1) Relationships
* Goal: To grow the church by developing connections/relationships. Each person/family will have a close connection with other members of the body.
* This will be accomplished through LifeGroups, Unity and Relationships Within Church Body, and Opportunities for Fellowship.

2) Evangelism
* Goal I: Impact and culturizing the community with the Kingdom of God by meeting the needs of the community.
* Goal II: Develop relationships with leaders of the community where they reach out to us in time of need and visit OFH.
